Mercor is seeking experienced geography evaluators to support an important evaluation workflow in partnership with a leading AI research lab. This project focuses on improving AI model performance by evaluating agent-generated research reports related to geography, geopolitics, demographics, climate, and regional analysis.

We are looking for evaluators with experience or a strong background in Geography, Geopolitics, Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, or related fields. This workflow is ideal for:

• Specialists with expertise in human geography, physical geography, geopolitics, or regional studies
• Professionals familiar with global regions, demographic trends, migration, climate impacts, and spatial analysis
• Individuals experienced in analyzing maps, datasets, geographic indicators, and regional research reports

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality, accuracy, and relevance of agent-generated research reports in the Geography domain
• Assess reports covering regional trends, geopolitical dynamics, environmental factors, and spatial insights
• Ensure reports meet academic and industry standards for clarity, correctness, and contextual depth

You're a Strong Fit If You Have:

• Academic or professional experience in Geography or closely related disciplines
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating regional trends, spatial relationships, and geographic data
• Excellent written communication skills to deliver clear, actionable feedback
• Comfort working independently in an asynchronous, detail-oriented environment
