GitHub Specialist | $90–175/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking an experienced GitHub Specialist to join a dynamic software engineering team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a version control expert who thrives in modern CI/CD environments and has deep hands-on expertise with the GitHub ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain GitHub repositories, workflows, and organizational structures
• Build and optimize GitHub Actions pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
• Enforce Git best practices including branching strategies, code review processes, and commit standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development workflows and improve deployment efficiency
• Troubleshoot version control issues and provide guidance on Git-related challenges

Required Skills

• GitHub — advanced platform knowledge including Actions, Packages, and repository management
• Git & Version Control — strong command of branching, merging, rebasing, and conflict resolution
• GitHub Actions / CI/CD — proven experience building and maintaining automated pipelines

Engagement Details

• Type: Contract
• Rate: $90–$175/hr (based on experience)
• Location: Fully Remote — open worldwide
