Government Specialist – AI Trainer | $10–30/hr | Remote (US)

We are seeking experienced Government Specialists to contribute their public sector expertise to an AI benchmark evaluation project. In this freelance role, you will design evaluation tasks, craft expert prompts, and develop scoring rubrics that help train and refine AI models handling complex governmental and regulatory content.

Project Overview

As AI models increasingly generate professional-grade public policy memos, regulatory frameworks, and civic administration deliverables, their accuracy depends on high-quality, expert-crafted training data. Your role is to autonomously produce realistic evaluation tasks, strong prompts, and clear rubrics that yield clean, reliable data for model training and benchmarking.

Key Deliverables

• Task & Prompt Creation: Design realistic, high-quality prompts that challenge AI models to produce complex, professional-grade outputs specific to public administration, government policy, and civic operations.
• Rubric Development: Write clear, well-structured evaluation rubrics with specific, non-ambiguous, and easily scorable criteria.
• Benchmark Data Generation: Produce clean, reliable training data that supports the evaluation and refinement of AI models on governmental and regulatory tasks.
• Quality Assurance & Fact-Checking: Ensure all tasks and scoring criteria align with real-world legislative standards, bureaucratic protocols, and public policy frameworks.

Required Expertise

• Demonstrated professional experience in public administration, legislative affairs, civic planning, or regulatory compliance.
• Deep understanding of government standards, bureaucratic terminology, and public sector deliverables.
• Strong writing and prompt generation skills with the ability to craft complex, realistic civic task scenarios.
• Proficiency in developing objective, non-ambiguous scoring rubrics for AI evaluation purposes.
• Meticulous attention to detail in fact-checking policy documents, legislative frameworks, and civic guidelines.
