Graduate Research Evaluator (AI) | $50–$150/hr | Worldwide Remote | Project-Based

AFTERQUERY is seeking currently enrolled graduate students from all academic disciplines to contribute to an AI evaluation research project. This is a flexible, asynchronous role designed to fit around your existing academic schedule — you choose the projects you take on.

You will bring the depth of expertise developed through years of coursework, lab work, and field research to assess, write, and validate content that demands genuine subject-matter knowledge. This is intellectually meaningful work that also makes a strong addition to your research and professional portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and validate AI-generated content within your area of academic expertise
• Produce clear, well-reasoned written assessments of domain-specific material
• Interpret discipline-specific visuals such as spectra, schematics, maps, clinical images, or formal visual analyses
• Select and complete project windows on an asynchronous, self-directed basis

Role Details

• Commitment: Up to 10 hours per week per project window accepted
• Structure: Project-based; you choose which assignments to accept
• Schedule: Fully asynchronous — work around your academic commitments

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD, Master's, MD, or MD/PhD program
• Deep familiarity with the technical vocabulary and visual conventions of your discipline
• Ability to produce clear, well-reasoned written explanations of domain-specific judgments
• Strong English writing proficiency
• Reliable internet access and availability for remote, asynchronous work
