About the role
Mercor is hiring graphic designers to support a research project with a leading AI lab. You will complete and narrate real graphic design tasks on your own Mac to create high-quality training data that helps benchmark and improve advanced AI models. Responsibilities are clearly structured, without the high pressure typically found in internships or full-time consulting roles.
Who this is for
- Required: You must own a MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher. Applicants without a Mac cannot be considered.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Masters studies, or 2-3 years of relevant professional or freelance experience with a Bachelors degree
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity, or Canva
- Experience with branding, layout, typography, and visual communication; a portfolio is a plus
- Ability to clearly explain your creative decisions while you work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay and schedule
- $50-60 per hour
- Part-time commitment of approximately 10-20 hours per week
- Immediate start preferred
