Health Information Management Expert at AfterQuery

Health Information Management Expert | $70–95/hr | Worldwide Remote | Contractor

AFTERQUERY is seeking credentialed HIM professionals (RHIA or RHIT) to help shape the future of AI in healthcare. In this role, you will build health data governance scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and test model judgment in real-world clinical and compliance contexts. This is a fully remote, asynchronous position with weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document health data governance scenarios for AI model evaluation
• Apply expertise in release of information, privacy, record integrity, and compliance
• Clearly articulate policy and compliance reasoning in written form
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to refine scenario quality

Required Qualifications

• Active RHIA or RHIT credential in good standing (AHIMA)
• 2+ years of HIM experience in a provider, payer, or health IT environment
• Strong depth in at least one of: release of information, privacy, record integrity, or data governance
• Excellent written English communication skills for policy and compliance documentation
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $70–$95/hr based on experience
