HR Expert (People Operations) | $60–$80/hr | Worldwide Remote | Part-Time

Mercor is seeking senior HR and People Operations professionals to design evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in Fortune 500 enterprise contexts. Contributors build realistic scenarios, reference materials, and scoring rubrics that reflect authentic senior-level HR judgment at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct enterprise HR scenarios spanning talent acquisition (executive search and high-volume hiring), total rewards, employee relations, and workforce planning at F500 scale.
  • Build tasks involving enterprise HRIS platforms at 5,000–50,000+ employee scale, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Develop multi-country leave, benefits, and compliance scenarios covering FMLA, ADA, EU parental leave, and APAC statutory programs.
  • Design enterprise total rewards programs including equity, deferred compensation, and executive compensation structures.
  • Author tasks on F500 DEI initiatives, organizational design, and M&A people integration.
  • Write rubrics that distinguish genuine enterprise HR expertise from generic guidance.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 5+ years in HR, People Operations, Total Rewards, or Talent at a Fortune 500 or large public company — or at a top-tier HR advisory or executive search firm serving F500 clients (e.g., Mercer, Aon, WTW, Korn Ferry, Spencer Stuart, Heidrick & Struggles).
  • Direct experience with enterprise HRIS platforms at scale and multi-country workforce programs.
  • Strong familiarity with F500 compensation philosophy, equity programs, and regulatory environments.
  • Prior experience in rubric writing, training content development, or HR enablement authorship is a plus.

Compensation & Commitment

  • Pay: $60–$80/hr, determined by Mercor based on demonstrated expertise.
  • Minimum Commitment: 20 hours per week.
  • Onboarding through the Mercor Rubric Academy — a paid calibration program before live work begins.
  • High-performing contributors advance into reviewer, lead, and domain SME roles with elevated compensation rates.

How to apply for this role
  • Upload your resume — keep it up-to-date and in English. Mercor will auto-fill your profile from it.
  • Complete the AI interview — a 15-minute conversation about your experience. Be ready to discuss specific projects and challenges you've solved.
  • Submit your application — only about 20% of applicants finish all the steps, so completing yours puts you well ahead.
