Role Overview

As a People Ops SME, you will serve as the domain authority for HR-focused AI applications — defining guardrails, validating workflows, and ensuring AI outputs align with real-world HR and talent operations practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Authoring Skills & Guardrails: Define discovery parameters and guardrails covering requisitions, headcount planning, compensation bands, PTO accrual caps, carryover rules, and exempt vs. non-exempt distinctions for AI builders.
  • Context & Interview Co-Design: Co-design interview workflows and validate context files including org charts, requisition lists, and PTO ledgers.
  • Grounding Golden Assets: Verify pipeline stages, leave accrual formulas, KPI metrics, and validation dropdowns across flagship recipes such as headcount planners, hiring kanbans, and timesheet trackers.
  • Peer Review & Sign-Off: Review counterpart deliverables prior to QC and sign off to ensure outputs align with real-world People Ops practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or as an HR Business Partner (HRBP).
  • Deep, hands-on familiarity with applicant tracking systems, headcount planning, compensation bands, PTO/leave accrual rules, and organizational structures.
  • Strong professional writing skills with the ability to translate complex HR policies into spreadsheet formulas, KPI definitions, and data validation rules.
  • Experience conducting peer reviews and calibrating deliverables against strict professional standards.
  • Reliable personal desktop or laptop with a stable, high-speed internet connection.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
  • Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance is a plus but not required.
