AFTERQUERY is seeking licensed HVAC technicians to help build diagnostic and system design scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate model judgment on real-world trade work. This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract role with weekly pay — ideal for experienced technicians looking to contribute their expertise beyond the field.
What You'll Do
- Develop realistic HVAC diagnosis and system design scenarios for AI model testing
- Document diagnostic reasoning clearly and thoroughly in written English
- Apply hands-on field knowledge to create technically accurate, challenging test cases
- Work asynchronously on a flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 certification (state HVAC license required where applicable)
- 2+ years of field experience in installation, service, or controls
- Strong working knowledge of refrigeration cycles, airflow, and load calculation
- Clear, professional written English for documenting technical reasoning
- Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week consistently
Compensation & Details
