Join Mercor in partnership with a leading AI research organization to advance multimodal AI systems. As an Image Annotation Expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing detailed evaluation rubrics and benchmarking datasets to assess visual recognition and reasoning capabilities in AI models.

• Design structured evaluation rubrics for image-based AI tasks
• Analyze AI responses for accuracy in visual reasoning and recognition
• Create benchmark datasets and establish quality control standards for image annotations

Qualifications:

• Reside in the US, UK, or Canada
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to define objective evaluation criteria
• Experience with annotation platforms and dataset curation tools

This is a remote, asynchronous contract role with flexible hours (20–40 hours/week). Compensation is $45/hour, paid weekly via Stripe Connect. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI research with potential for future collaborations.
