Indian Astrology Tradition Expert | Contract | Worldwide Remote
Turing is seeking a specialized Indian astrology expert with deep knowledge in Nadi Jyotish, Jaimini Sutras, Tajika, or regional astrological traditions to contribute to an AI evaluation dataset. This is a part-time contract role focused on creating high-quality, well-documented astrological problems that reflect the diversity of valid Jyotish traditions.

About the Role
You are an expert in one or more specialized or regional traditions of Indian astrology beyond the mainstream Parashara system. This may include:
- Nadi Jyotish (Bhrigu Nadi, Dhruva Nadi, Saptarishi Nadi)
- Jaimini Sutras (Chara Dasha, Rashi-based aspects, Karakamsha, Atmakaraka analysis)
- Tajika system (Varshaphal/annual horoscopy, Sahams, Mudda Dasha)
- Regional traditions (Tamil Nadi, Bhrigu Samhita methodology, Kerala-style Prashna)
Your contributions will ensure diverse astrological tradition coverage within an AI evaluation dataset.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 8–12 evaluation problems per month drawn from your specialized tradition
- Clearly document the specific system applied in each problem's chain-of-thought (CoT) for evaluation fairness
- Design problems highlighting unique features of your tradition — Chara Dasha and Karakamsha Lagna for Jaimini; planetary combinations and life-event predictions for Nadi; Varshaphal and Sahams for Tajika
- Develop comparative problems contrasting Parashara and specialized systems on the same chart
- Provide classical text references (Jaimini Sutras, Bhrigu Sutras, Tajika Neelakanthi, etc.) for all interpretive claims
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or Gurukula lineage in at least one specialized Jyotish tradition (Nadi, Jaimini, Tajika, or regional system)
- Minimum 5 years of active practice in the specialized system
- Ability to clearly articulate how the specialized system differs from Parashara in methodology and interpretation
- Thorough knowledge of the tradition's primary classical text
- Strong English writing skills for problem and reasoning documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of multiple specialized systems (e.g., Jaimini and Nadi)
- Published research or articles comparing traditional astrological systems
- Familiarity with Nadi leaf reading methodology for documentation purposes
- Teaching experience in specialized Jyotish systems
