Industrial Design CAD Expert | $40–80/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Design CAD Expert to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented mechanical engineering professional with deep expertise in CAD tools and technical documentation. You will play a key role in interpreting complex CAD assemblies and producing clear, accurate technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with FreeCAD and related CAD tools to develop and refine industrial design models
• Interpret and analyze CAD assemblies to support engineering workflows
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicating findings and updates clearly in writing
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to ensure design accuracy and feasibility

Required Skills

• FreeCAD proficiency
• Strong CAD assembly interpretation capabilities
• Solid background in mechanical engineering
• Experience creating and managing technical documentation
• Excellent written communication skills

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $40–80/hr (based on experience)
