We are seeking a skilled Industrial Design CAD Expert to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented mechanical engineering professional with deep expertise in CAD tools and technical documentation. You will play a key role in interpreting complex CAD assemblies and producing clear, accurate technical deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with FreeCAD and related CAD tools to develop and refine industrial design models
- Interpret and analyze CAD assemblies to support engineering workflows
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicating findings and updates clearly in writing
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
Required Skills
- FreeCAD proficiency
- Strong CAD assembly interpretation capabilities
- Solid background in mechanical engineering
- Experience creating and managing technical documentation
- Excellent written communication skills
