Industrial Engineer (AI Evaluation) | $70–110/hr | Worldwide Remote | 4–6 Week Contract

Mercor is seeking experienced Industrial Engineers to evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. You'll apply your real-world expertise in production systems, quality control, and process optimization to assess AI-generated engineering content and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated production plans, process designs, quality analyses, and industrial engineering artifacts for accuracy and quality.
• Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head, assessing engineering rigor, process efficiency, and quality-control soundness.
• Review industrial engineering scenarios involving production sequencing, cost analysis, quality standards, and logistics coordination, then provide detailed expert feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Operations Engineer, or a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, or evaluating integrated production systems — including quality control, inventory management, logistics, cost analysis, or production coordination.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week during the project duration.
• Strong written English communication skills.

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks
• Payment: Task-based initially (paid upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline qualify for hourly pay for the remainder of the project.
