Information Security Analyst Expert | $90–$135/hr | Worldwide Remote | Async & Paid Weekly

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced Information Security Analysts to help build detection and incident response scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and test model judgment. This is a flexible, fully remote contractor role with asynchronous work and weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop realistic security detection and incident response scenarios for AI model evaluation
• Apply hands-on security expertise to craft technically accurate, high-quality investigative content
• Document investigative reasoning, remediation steps, and findings in clear, professional written English
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of security professionals

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management
• Hands-on experience with security tooling including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
• Deep expertise in at least one area: detection engineering, threat hunting, or GRC
• Strong written English communication skills for documenting technical reasoning and remediation logic
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $90–$135/hr depending on experience
• Schedule: Fully asynchronous, flexible hours
• Payment: Paid weekly
• Location: 100% remote, open worldwide
