Investment Banking / PE Expert (Datarooms) | $200/hr | Worldwide Remote

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced Investment Banking or Private Equity professionals for a short-term, project-based engagement focused on dataroom review, organization, and analysis. This is a fully remote, asynchronous role running over the next 2–3 weeks, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week per accepted project.

About the Role

You will apply your IB or PE expertise to real-world transaction documentation — reviewing and analyzing dataroom materials such as CIMs, financial statements, legal agreements, cap tables, and other deal-related documents. Work is assigned on a project-by-project basis, giving you flexibility while offering exceptional compensation and meaningful exposure to complex transaction materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and analyze dataroom materials across active deal projects
• Evaluate transaction documents including CIMs, financial statements, legal agreements, and cap tables
• Produce clear, well-organized, citation-supported document summaries
• Apply IB/PE training to assess due diligence materials with accuracy and professionalism
• Manage time independently across asynchronous, guideline-driven tasks

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, or a closely related finance role
• Hands-on experience with dataroom platforms such as Intralinks, Datasite, Box, or similar
• Strong financial literacy including financial statement analysis, valuation concepts, and deal documentation
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce structured, professional summaries
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in an asynchronous environment

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $200/hr
• Duration: 2–3 weeks, project-by-project basis
• Commitment: 10–20 hours/week per accepted project
