Role Overview
You will review AI benchmark tasks modeled on realistic M&A scenarios, assessing whether each benchmark meets the standards expected by senior practitioners. Your evaluations will cover deal context, financial data quality, task design, scoring methodology, and model-generated solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review AI benchmark tasks based on realistic buy-side M&A scenarios
- Assess the realism and quality of deal assumptions, financial data, and task prompts
- Evaluate scoring rubrics for accuracy, rigor, and resistance to gaming
- Review model-generated answers and worked solutions against senior practitioner standards
- Provide structured feedback to improve benchmark quality and evaluation methodology
- Complete a short calibration round before beginning full review
Requirements
- Senior Associate-level experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or M&A Advisory
- Strong financial modeling and transaction analysis skills
- Ability to distinguish technically correct outputs from supervisor-ready work product
- Must be based in the United States
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience at a top-tier firm (e.g., Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Evercore, KKR, Blackstone, Apollo)
- Experience supervising or training analysts and associates
- CFA, CPA, MBA, or other relevant finance credentials
- Prior experience evaluating investment memos or financial modeling assessments
