Role Overview

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to build and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems tailored for finance. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will help design realistic investment workflows, validate model outputs, and support complex financial research tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with AI researchers to define and simulate real-world private equity, investment banking, asset management, and trading scenarios

• Design test cases and benchmarks for finance-focused AI models

• Analyze model performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements

• Develop financial models and conduct detailed analyses to support AI training and validation

• Deliver clear, concise reports and documentation of your findings

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years at a top-tier firm in one of the following:

  • Investment Banking (bulge-bracket or elite boutique)

  • Private Equity

  • Asset Management

  • Trading Support (equities or market research)

• Technical Skills: Advanced financial analysis and Excel modeling

• Attention to Detail: Rigorous approach to data quality and documentation

• Communication: Strong written skills; able to summarize complex insights clearly
