Role Overview
Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to build and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems tailored for finance. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will help design realistic investment workflows, validate model outputs, and support complex financial research tasks.
What You’ll Do

Collaborate with AI researchers to define and simulate real-world private equity, investment banking, asset management, and trading scenarios

Design test cases and benchmarks for finance-focused AI models

Analyze model performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements

Develop financial models and conduct detailed analyses to support AI training and validation

Deliver clear, concise reports and documentation of your findings
Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years at a top-tier firm in one of the following:

Investment Banking (bulge-bracket or elite boutique)

Private Equity

Asset Management

Trading Support (equities or market research)

Technical Skills: Advanced financial analysis and Excel modeling

Attention to Detail: Rigorous approach to data quality and documentation

Communication: Strong written skills; able to summarize complex insights clearly
