Ireland Domestic Tax Specialist | $100–130/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced Irish domestic tax specialists to review and evaluate AI-generated tax research focused on Irish domestic taxation. This is a short-term, part-time remote engagement (10–20 hours/week) offering competitive hourly compensation for qualified tax professionals.

About the Role

In this role, you will assess the quality and accuracy of AI-generated Irish tax research, validate supporting legal authorities, and help refine grading rubrics and model answers. Your expertise will ensure that all content aligns with current Irish tax law, Revenue guidance, and relevant legislative updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Irish domestic tax research questions and model answers for technical accuracy.
• Validate legal authorities and evaluate the quality of technical tax analyses.
• Improve grading rubrics and develop gold-standard reference answers.
• Ensure alignment with Revenue guidance and up-to-date legislative changes.
• Verify technical accuracy across a broad range of domestic tax topics.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Irish tax experience.
• Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA Ireland), ACA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant Ireland, Solicitor, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Deep expertise in Irish domestic taxation.
• Proven experience interpreting the Irish Taxes Consolidation Act, Revenue guidance, and relevant case law.
• Experience preparing technical tax memoranda and advisory opinions.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
