IT Expert | $30–70/hr | Remote

Mercor is seeking skilled IT professionals to collaborate on high-impact projects with leading AI labs and research organizations. This contract role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to shape how AI systems support and secure technology operations.

• Review and validate AI-generated troubleshooting guides, IT policies, and system documentation.
• Test AI recommendations for help desk, system setup, and incident response workflows.
• Provide structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and alignment with IT best practices.
• Stress-test AI outputs for networking, system security, and infrastructure scaling.
• Tag and organize content by IT domain, supporting benchmarking efforts in IT service management.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in IT support, systems administration, networking, or related roles.
• Degree or certifications in IT, Computer Science, or related fields (CompTIA, CCNA, AWS/Azure/GCP preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting, security, and enterprise IT operations knowledge.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and monitoring tools.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
