IT & Information Systems Manager at Mercor

IT & Information Systems Manager | $70–110/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced IT and Information Systems Managers to evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. This short-term contract role leverages your real-world expertise in IT leadership to assess AI-generated content, workflows, and management scenarios for quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated project plans, technical standards, incident response documents, and other IT management artifacts for accuracy and operational soundness.
• Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head, assessing technical rigor, cross-team feasibility, and practical applicability.
• Review IT management scenarios involving system prioritization, vendor coordination, technical support, and team assignments, then provide structured expert feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an IT management role such as IT Manager, IS Manager, IT Director, Application Development Director, or Technical Services Manager.
• Demonstrated experience directing or coordinating activities across data processing, information systems, systems analysis, or computer programming teams.
• Availability to commit 20+ hours per week during the project duration.
• Strong written English communication skills.

Project Details

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks
• Payment: Task-based initially; experts who complete their first task on time qualify for hourly pay for the remainder of the project.
