About the Role

Large-scale language models are becoming powerful tools for engineering and scientific progress — but their quality depends on expert human feedback. As a Java Coding Specialist, you'll evaluate model-generated Java solutions, identify flaws in logic and design, and document failure patterns to help improve AI training data.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Java problems and assess model-generated solutions for correctness and code quality
• Identify where a model's reasoning or approach breaks down
• Evaluate edge case handling, architectural decisions, and production readiness
• Document failure patterns clearly and actionably
• Flag whether problems are well-specified and appropriately challenging for training purposes

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise in Java, including object-oriented design, concurrency, JVM internals, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture
• Ability to articulate why a solution is flawed — not just that it is
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Real-world Java experience, competitive programming, open-source contributions, or technical writing are strong assets
