We are seeking a skilled Language Alignment & Resource Partner (LARP) with native-level Māori proficiency to support a specialized AI data quality project. In this role, you will provide critical linguistic and cultural consultation to ensure AI-generated outputs are natural, accurate, and culturally authentic.
Project Deliverables
- Data Annotation & Review: Evaluate and annotate AI outputs for grammatical accuracy, natural fluency, and cultural appropriateness in Māori.
- Quality Assurance: Serve as a primary quality checkpoint during production, identifying and correcting subtle cultural errors or unnatural phrasing.
- Resource Development: Analyze quality trends and create structured educational resources and feedback documentation to improve AI alignment.
- Linguistic Consultation: Provide native-level vetting and specialized language support throughout the project's production and scaling phases.
Required Expertise
- Background in linguistics, education, or a field requiring high attention to linguistic detail.
- Prior hands-on experience in human data evaluation or annotation.
- Verified Māori language proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
- Ability to transform raw feedback and quality trends into clear, actionable educational resources.
- A meticulous eye for subtle unnatural phrasing and cultural nuance in Māori.
