About the Role

Turing, an AI company working with leading AI labs, is hiring Lifestyle Experts to author domain-specific "recipes" that teach an AI assistant inside Google Sheets how to turn plain-text requests into fully functional, interactive applications. You'll focus on real-world lifestyle scenarios such as personal fitness tracking, event planning, road trips, or pet care, owning each recipe end-to-end: writing original domain guidance, drafting discovery questions, building reference Google Sheets, and refining the assistant's visual app output.

The client evaluates every deliverable for authentic human voice. All content must reflect genuine, lived practice and cannot sound AI-generated.

Requirements

• Lived domain expertise: direct, hands-on experience with the assigned lifestyle scenario (e.g., maintaining workout logs, organizing weddings, mapping multi-city trips), including its real-world edge cases and gotchas.
• Authentic human writing: exceptional plain-English writing that sounds like an experienced practitioner. Writing must be 100% human-authored before any AI refinement (AI may only polish syntax, never supply domain insights).
• Google Sheets proficiency: ability to build clean, multi-tab sheets using everyday formulas, clear data organization, and structured validation.
• Assistive logic and workflow design: ability to anticipate user intent and design natural interview questions for the AI assistant to ask.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field. Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, QA, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned lifestyle scenarios end-to-end, from initial discovery parameters through final app iteration.
• Draft original domain rules, gotchas, and discovery parameters in your own words.
• Design step-by-step interview questions the AI assistant asks users to resolve ambiguity.
• Build and verify reference Google Sheets serving as the functional foundation for each scenario's data models and formulas.
• Test and iterate on AI-generated visual apps until they reflect real user needs, participating in daily check-ins, QC reviews, and final sign-offs.

Schedule and Engagement

• Contractor engagement, up to 3 weeks long.
• Expected sprint effort of 35–50 hours with daily check-ins; offer details specify 40 hours per week with 8 hours of overlap with PST.
• Weekend on-call availability required; part-time engagement is acceptable.
• Personal desktop/laptop with stable, high-speed internet required.
