Linguistic Expert – Turkish | $50–70/hr | 10–20 hrs/week | In-Person

Mercor is hiring on behalf of a leading AI research lab for a Linguistic Expert – Turkish (Turkey). This part-time, in-person role is based at client offices in San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, London, or Singapore. You'll enhance AI systems by ensuring accurate, fluent, and culturally authentic Turkish language outputs.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate AI-generated Turkish text for grammatical accuracy and contextual relevance
• Provide feedback on semantics, idiomatic expressions, and stylistic nuances
• Create and maintain guidelines to improve Turkish language consistency in AI outputs
• Partner with researchers to address language-specific challenges
• Suggest improvements to datasets and linguistic frameworks

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Turkish (Türkiye) and fluency in English
• Strong command of grammar, syntax, and stylistic conventions
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Literature, or related field
• Experience in linguistic annotation or content review preferred
• Familiarity with AI/NLP tools or technologies is a plus
