What You'll Do
- Design and develop rigorous linguistic analysis scenarios used to test AI model reasoning and judgment
- Apply deep subfield expertise in areas such as syntax, semantics, phonology, or sociolinguistics
- Document linguistic analyses clearly and thoroughly in written English
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team focused on advancing AI language understanding
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Linguistics or a closely related field
- 2+ years of experience in research, teaching, or applied linguistics
- Demonstrated depth in at least one subfield (e.g., syntax, semantics, phonology, sociolinguistics)
- Strong written English communication skills for clear documentation
- Availability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week
