What You'll Do

• Design and develop rigorous linguistic analysis scenarios used to test AI model reasoning and judgment
• Apply deep subfield expertise in areas such as syntax, semantics, phonology, or sociolinguistics
• Document linguistic analyses clearly and thoroughly in written English
• Collaborate asynchronously with a team focused on advancing AI language understanding

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Linguistics or a closely related field
• 2+ years of experience in research, teaching, or applied linguistics
• Demonstrated depth in at least one subfield (e.g., syntax, semantics, phonology, sociolinguistics)
• Strong written English communication skills for clear documentation
• Availability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week
