Litigation Attorney Expert | $100–200/hr | Remote (US) | Weekly Pay

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced litigation attorneys to help shape the future of AI. In this contractor role, you will design and document complex legal reasoning scenarios — including motions, discovery, and procedural strategy — used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and improve model judgment in legal contexts.

This is a fully remote, asynchronous engagement with flexible scheduling, paid weekly.

What You'll Do

• Build realistic litigation scenarios covering motions practice, discovery disputes, and procedural reasoning
• Document clear, well-structured legal reasoning that AI systems can learn from and be tested against
• Collaborate asynchronously with a team focused on advancing AI capabilities in legal domains

Requirements

• JD and active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction
• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience at a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department
• Hands-on experience with motion practice, discovery, and procedural strategy
• Strong written English skills for clearly articulating legal reasoning
• Availability to commit at least 10 hours per week

• Rate: $100–$200/hr (based on experience)
