Litigation Lawyer (France) | $150–160/hr | Remote (France)

Mercor is partnering with a leading legal AI company to evaluate how well AI systems handle real questions of French law. We are seeking experienced litigation and disputes lawyers to serve as expert reviewers, comparing AI-generated legal responses and scoring them against a standardized rubric.

What You'll Do

• Run identical prompts across two AI (LLM) platforms and compare outputs side by side
• Score each AI response against a standardized evaluation rubric provided by the client
• Submit concise, well-reasoned written feedback for every evaluation completed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of law firm experience (3+ preferred) in litigation, disputes, or contentious practice
• In-house candidates considered only if transitioned within the last 2 years from a law firm background
• Qualified to practise in France (avocat/e), with strong command of French litigation and procedural law
• Native or fluent French speaker with precise written communication skills
• Able to work independently, follow a rubric, and meet deadlines

Logistics

• Initial commitment: approximately 10 hours, with strong potential for ongoing work
• All work is covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
