LLM S2 Annotator (CUA Trajectory Specialist) | Contractor | Remote – India, Brazil, Mexico & more

Turing is seeking a technically skilled S2 Annotator to produce and validate high-quality Computer-Use Agent (CUA) trajectories for developer-adjacent workflows. This is a short-term contract role (5 weeks) ideal for professionals with a background in software development, scripting, and AI tooling who want to contribute to cutting-edge LLM training pipelines.

Role Overview

In this role, you will translate natural language instructions into precise, step-by-step executable actions used to train advanced AI systems. You'll work within Linux environments, leverage scripting tools, and interact with APIs, terminals, and browser automation platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Create detailed positive CUA trajectories for technical tasks including file manipulation, scripting, API calls, and browser-based workflows
  • Break down natural language instructions into clear, verifiable, reproducible actions
  • Validate and review trajectories for correctness, completeness, and consistency
  • Work within Linux desktop environments to execute and document workflows
  • Use Python or Bash scripting to simulate or validate task execution
  • Interact with tools involving APIs, terminals, and browser automation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine annotation quality and guidelines

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in software development, technical support, or similar roles
  • Strong familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash
  • Ability to decompose complex instructions into structured, step-by-step workflows
  • Exposure to LLM-based tools, AI systems, or agentic workflows
  • Basic understanding of APIs, file systems, and developer tooling
  • Familiarity with OpenClaw or similar environments

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in data annotation, RLHF, or SFT labeling workflows
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, or terminal-based automation
  • Experience with browser automation tools or developer productivity tools
  • Background in evaluating or improving AI-generated outputs

Contract Details

  • Duration: 5 weeks (expected start: next week)
  • Commitment: Minimum 4 hours/day, 20 hours/week with a 4-hour PST overlap
  • Type: Contractor (no medical/paid leave benefits)
  • Location: Remote – open to candidates in India, Brazil, Mexico, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, and Turkey
