LLM Trainer – Agent Function Call | Contractor | Remote (India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico)

Join Turing — one of the world's fastest-growing AI companies — and contribute directly to advancing frontier Large Language Models. This short-term contractor role focuses on generating high-quality Agent Completion (AC) training data for a leading foundational LLM company.

About Turing

Turing partners with the world's top AI labs to enhance model capabilities in reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, and more. The proprietary data generated by contributors like you is used for fine-tuning and benchmarking cutting-edge AI systems.

Role Overview

You will simulate realistic, high-quality multi-turn conversations between users and AI assistants that leverage function-calling tools (e.g., calendar, email, maps, drive). You'll play both the user and the assistant, crafting dialogues that demonstrate intelligent reasoning, natural language, and proper tool usage.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design multi-turn conversations simulating real user–AI assistant interactions using apps like calendar, email, maps, and drive.
  • Emulate both the user and the assistant, including tool calls where appropriate.
  • Ensure logical flow and correct usage of function calls throughout each dialogue.
  • Craft examples showcasing task completion, infeasibility recognition, and general conversational ability.
  • Adhere to defined formatting and quality guidelines using an internal playbook.
  • Iterate on examples based on reviewer feedback to improve realism and training value.
  • Collaborate with peers to maintain consistency and high delivery standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a technical or analytical field.
  • Strong technical reasoning skills with the ability to model real-world assistant behavior via tool-based APIs.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, data formats (e.g., JSON), and logical thinking — specific language/stack experience is flexible.
  • Excellent written English communication skills with clarity, tone, and instructional coherence.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in crafting realistic scenarios.
  • Experience with LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed guidelines and formatting standards consistently.

Engagement Details

  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week (options: 20, 30, or 40 hrs/week); at least 4 hrs/day with 4-hour PST overlap
  • Type: Contractor (no medical/paid leave benefits)
  • Environment: Fully remote
