We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Management Specialist to support operations within the skilled trades and construction sector. This is a contractor role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in end-to-end supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment
- Prepare, review, and maintain packing lists and bills of lading for all shipments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory registers to support project planning and procurement
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Identify and resolve logistics bottlenecks or discrepancies in a timely manner
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Proficiency in handling shipping documentation including packing lists and bills of lading
- Strong inventory management skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems
- Background in skilled trades or construction environments is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
