Manufacturing Expert | $40–65/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Expert to drive operational excellence, optimize production processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality across manufacturing operations. This is a fully remote contractor role ideal for a seasoned generalist with a strong background in process improvement and mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements
• Develop and maintain detailed process maps to document and standardize workflows
• Conduct thorough root-cause analyses to resolve production issues and prevent recurrence
• Lead production line optimization initiatives to maximize throughput and minimize waste
• Oversee and enforce quality assurance protocols to meet regulatory and internal standards
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to evaluate and improve equipment and systems
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and improvement outcomes
• Champion operational excellence across all manufacturing functions
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and quality

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
• Strong process mapping and root-cause analysis capabilities
• Hands-on experience with production line optimization
• Solid understanding of quality assurance frameworks
• Background in mechanical engineering
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a remote environment

This is a contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $40 and $65 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
