Mathematics Expert | $50–80/hr | Remote: US/UK/CA

Mercor is seeking accomplished Mathematics Experts to join a high-impact project with a leading AI research lab. In this role, you will leverage your advanced mathematics expertise to create challenging problems and high-quality data that will shape the future of artificial intelligence.

• Project Scope: Collaborate on a cutting-edge initiative involving large language models, contributing 10–20 hours per week with potential for up to 40 hours.
• Flexibility: Fully remote and asynchronous work, allowing you to set your own schedule.
• Duration: Minimum commitment of 1–2 months, with rolling applications and potential for extension.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly via Stripe Connect as an hourly contractor.

Requirements:

• PhD in Mathematics or Statistics from a top US, Canadian, or European university.
• Undergraduate degree from a US, UK, Canadian, or European institution.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Applicants must reside in the US, UK, or Canada.
