Whether you hold an undergraduate degree or a masters/PhD in Mathematics, this is a unique opportunity to apply deep mathematical reasoning to cutting-edge AI development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply advanced mathematical models and computational techniques to solve complex problems across various mathematical domains.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute mathematical insight and expertise to research projects.
  • Engage with the latest mathematical literature, including cutting-edge research papers.
  • Support the advancement of LLM mathematical proficiency through problem-solving and model evaluation tasks.

Required Skills

You must demonstrate strong proficiency in at least 4 of the following 7 areas:

  • Computable Functions & Mathematical Logic: Theory of computation, decision problems, and function inference from inputs/outputs.
  • Algebra & Number Theory: Quadratic forms, prime numbers, Eisenstein series, and algebraic structures.
  • Linear Algebra & Matrix Theory: Bases, symmetric matrices, diagonalization, and rank conditions.
  • Topology & Geometry: Vector bundles, cohomology, fundamental groups, and geometric proofs.
  • Real Analysis: Function properties, convergence types, and continuity.
  • Probability & Statistics: Probability theory, statistical inference, and methods such as ANOVA.
  • Applied Mathematics: Practical problem-solving using mathematical reasoning and logic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex mathematical problems through research, publications, or projects.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills — able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary, collaborative environments.
  • Python and data analysis skills are a plus but not required.
