MCP & Plugin Connectors Expert | $50–$190/hr | Remote (US Only)

A leading AI research organization is looking for experienced LLM power users with hands-on expertise in MCP and plugin/connector tools to help evaluate how AI systems handle complex, real-world personal life tasks. This is a high-impact contractor role for individuals who already rely on AI tools daily for personal workflows.

What You'll Do

You will evaluate AI systems on multi-step personal workflows across a range of life domains, including:

• Personal health research and planning
• Travel planning and booking
• Food, dining, and activity planning
• Home services and repairs
• Career search and professional development
• General life organization and productivity

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating realistic, high-context prompts for complex personal-life tasks
• Executing tasks while recording your screen (required)
• Using personal plugins and connectors (e.g., Google Drive, Expedia, Notion) during task completion
• Writing clear, detailed assessments of AI successes and failures
• Evaluating whether AI outputs are practical, personalized, and well-reasoned
• Identifying where models miss context, misuse tools, or produce unrealistic results
• Designing and applying detailed rubrics to assess model performance

Who We're Looking For

• US-based candidates only
• Strong hands-on experience with MCP and LLM plugin/connector tools (Google Drive, Expedia, Notion, etc.), used multiple times per week
• Heavy personal usage of LLM products with an active account and 6+ months of history
• Experience using AI for multi-step planning, research, and decision-making
• Strong written communication, judgment, and attention to detail
• Experience writing and evaluating against rubrics (100+ hours of rubric project experience is a strong plus)
• Willingness to sign a data-share consent form via DocuSign

Engagement Details

• Commitment: 20+ hours per week
• Ramp-up: 1–2 days required
• Turnaround: Tasks must be completed within 24 hours
• Equipment: Desktop or laptop required (Chromebooks not supported)
• New experts will begin with a trial period to assess fit, quality, and consistency before ongoing tasking
• Note: This project is in early stages — there may be an initial delay before tasking begins.
