In this flexible, part-time role, you'll apply your real-world expertise to evaluate AI-generated content, improve domain accuracy, and provide actionable feedback that makes AI tools more reliable for the engineering community.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in mechanical engineering for accuracy and quality.
• Answer domain-specific questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback grounded in professional experience.
• Identify and recommend relevant reference materials within your area of expertise.
• Offer insight into real-world engineering workflows, tools, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with a small team of subject-matter experts across various disciplines.

What We're Looking For

• Degree-qualified mechanical engineer with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US.
• 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience, ideally spanning multiple areas (e.g., thermodynamics/HVAC, structural/mechanical design, manufacturing).
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASME, and common tools like SolidWorks, ANSYS, or AutoCAD.
• Experience writing technical documentation, specifications, or training materials is a plus.
• Comfortable using everyday AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar).
• Based in the United States with professional working proficiency in English.
• Able to reliably commit to approximately 10 hours per week.
