Role Overview

As a generalist SME in applied engineering, you will leverage your broad mechanical engineering expertise to support technical projects, provide domain guidance, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert across core mechanical engineering domains
• Provide technical guidance and review in areas such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
• Support manufacturing processes and vibration analysis initiatives
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional engineering teams
• Contribute to documentation, assessments, and knowledge-sharing efforts

Required Skills & Expertise

• Engineering Mechanics – solid foundation in statics, dynamics, and structural analysis
• Thermodynamics – applied thermal systems and energy analysis
• Fluid Mechanics – flow analysis and fluid system design
• Heat Transfer – conduction, convection, and radiation principles
• Manufacturing – process knowledge and design for manufacturability
