Medical Coder | $55–68/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a coding specialist with deep expertise in medical terminology, coding systems, and compliance standards who thrives in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to medical records, diagnoses, and procedures
• Review and code Evaluation & Management (E&M) services with precision
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, coding standards, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies or documentation gaps
• Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to optimize coding accuracy and reimbursement

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Coding, including ICD-10 and CPT code sets
• Active CPC Certification (Certified Professional Coder) required
• Strong knowledge of Evaluation & Management coding guidelines
• Experience working within the medical or healthcare domain
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting
