About the role
micro1 is hiring a Medical Coder for a remote contract position. This is a generalist coding role in the medical domain, focused on outpatient coding using CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS code sets.
What you'll do
- Assign CPT codes for outpatient procedures and services
- Apply ICD-10 diagnostic codes to patient records
- Work with HCPCS codes for supplies, services and procedures
- Handle generalist medical coding tasks across outpatient encounters
Requirements
- AAPC Certification
- Proficiency with CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Experience with outpatient coding and HCPCS
