Join Mercor in partnership with a leading AI research organization as a medical expert with deep experience in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. In this impactful contractor role, you will leverage your clinical and technical expertise to help shape innovative AI tools for healthcare documentation and workflow optimization.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Review and validate AI-generated content related to EMR workflows and medical documentation.
• Provide expert feedback on clinical accuracy and usability within EMR contexts.
• Develop and refine case-based scenarios simulating real-world EMR usage.
• Collaborate on evaluating system outputs for clinical consistency and alignment with standards.
• Ideal Qualifications:
• Extensive hands-on experience with major EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech).
• Licensed healthcare professional (physician, nurse, etc.).
• Strong understanding of medical documentation standards and coding practices.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in complex medical and technical content.
• Based in the US, Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.
• Role Highlights:
• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
• Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
• Interview Process:
• Technical interview with practical tasks (e.g., mapping FHIR resources, interface diagnostics).
• Assessment of real-world judgement, technical reasoning, and documentation skills.
• Compensation & Legal:
• $100–140/hour depending on expertise and geography.
