Medical Interpreter Expert | $55–$95/hr | Worldwide Remote | Async Contract

AFTERQUERY is seeking certified medical interpreters to help shape the future of clinical AI. In this role, you will build and document real-world clinical interpretation scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and improve model judgment in high-stakes medical contexts. Work is fully remote, asynchronous, and paid weekly.

What You'll Do

• Develop authentic clinical interpretation scenarios that reflect real-world medical encounters
• Document interpretation decisions with clear, professional written English
• Contribute to datasets that help AI systems better understand nuanced medical language and judgment
• Work independently on a flexible, async schedule with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week

Requirements

• Active CMI, CHI, or equivalent medical interpreter certification
• Minimum 2 years of interpreting experience in clinical settings
• Full professional command of medical terminology in both working languages
• Strong written English skills for clearly documenting interpretation decisions
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week
