Medical Resident (PGY2+) | $110/hr | Remote in US

Mercor is partnering with one of the world's leading AI laboratories to recruit medical residents for an innovative healthcare AI project. This role focuses on medical reasoning and diagnostic case development using laboratory data analysis.

Project Overview

Work directly with research teams at a top-tier AI lab to evaluate, refine, and stress-test advanced AI systems in healthcare. You'll create diagnostic cases and develop scoring rubrics to assess AI-generated responses. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI in medicine while applying your clinical expertise in a structured, professional environment.

Key Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based residency program (PGY2 or above)
• Any specialty except Radiology
• Hold a U.S.-based MD or DO degree
• Comfortable analyzing and interpreting laboratory diagnostic results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Able to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Interest in advancing AI applications in healthcare

Position Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous work
• Expected commitment: 20-40 hours per week
• Minimum 3-month project duration with potential for extension
• Must complete a paid 2-hour training course and pass skills assessment before starting
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
