Medicinal Chemist / Computational Drug Discovery Scientist | $80–110/hr | Worldwide Remote

Join a cutting-edge sciences research team as a Medicinal Chemist or Computational Drug Discovery Scientist. This remote contractor role is ideal for a generalist scientist with a strong foundation in cheminformatics, molecular modeling, and drug design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply computational and medicinal chemistry expertise to support drug discovery pipelines
• Perform molecular docking studies and analyze Structure-Activity Relationships (SAR) to guide lead optimization
• Evaluate and predict ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, Toxicity) properties of candidate compounds
• Utilize cheminformatics tools, including RDKit, to process and analyze chemical data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate bioinformatics and biochemistry insights into research workflows
• Contribute to the design and prioritization of novel chemical entities

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Molecular Docking and Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) analysis
• Hands-on experience with RDKit and other cheminformatics platforms
• Strong understanding of ADMET profiling and drug-likeness criteria
• Background in biochemistry and bioinformatics
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced research environment

This is a fully remote contractor position open to candidates worldwide. Compensation ranges from $80 to $110 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
