We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Prevention Expert to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a dedicated specialist with a strong background in psychology, crisis response, and patient care who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in mental health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support and guidance in mental health crisis prevention and intervention strategies
- Assess and manage patients experiencing acute psychological distress, including those with eating disorders
- Develop and implement evidence-based crisis response protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with clinical standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Psychology and Mental Health principles
- Proven experience in Crisis Response and intervention
- Specialized experience working with Eating Disorders
- Strong Patient Care skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
