We are seeking a highly experienced Military Operations & International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Expert to provide specialized knowledge and guidance across defense operations, weapons targeting, and the legal frameworks governing armed conflict. This is a contractor role ideal for seasoned professionals with a strong background in military strategy and humanitarian law.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level insight on war fighting strategies and military doctrine
- Advise on weapons targeting methodologies and compliance considerations
- Support defense operations planning and analysis
- Apply and interpret International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in operational contexts
- Deliver assessments, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep expertise in war fighting and military operations
- Proven experience in weapons targeting and rules of engagement
- Strong background in defense operations at a strategic or operational level
- Comprehensive knowledge of International Humanitarian Law and related legal frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $50 and $90 per hour, commensurate with experience.
