We are seeking a highly experienced Military Operations & International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Expert to provide specialized knowledge and guidance across defense operations, weapons targeting, and the legal frameworks governing armed conflict. This is a contractor role ideal for seasoned professionals with a strong background in military strategy and humanitarian law.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level insight on war fighting strategies and military doctrine
• Advise on weapons targeting methodologies and compliance considerations
• Support defense operations planning and analysis
• Apply and interpret International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in operational contexts
• Deliver assessments, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Deep expertise in war fighting and military operations
• Proven experience in weapons targeting and rules of engagement
• Strong background in defense operations at a strategic or operational level
• Comprehensive knowledge of International Humanitarian Law and related legal frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $50 and $90 per hour, commensurate with experience.
