Military Operations & Reporting SME | $40–80/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a seasoned Military Operations & Reporting Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support high-impact defense-related projects. This contractor role is ideal for a professional with deep experience in DoD environments, executive-level reporting, and military staff operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply military operations expertise to support complex reporting and analytical tasks
• Develop and review reports in accordance with DoD reporting standards
• Synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, actionable executive reports
• Coordinate with staff across organizational levels to gather and validate content
• Evaluate written content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with military standards
• Provide structured feedback to improve reporting quality and consistency
• Develop realistic scenarios to support training, planning, or evaluation efforts

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in military operations and DoD environments
• Strong command of DoD reporting standards and formats
• Excellent written communication and report writing skills
• Experience with executive-level reporting and staff coordination
• Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, professional documents
• Skilled in scenario development and content evaluation

This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $40 and $80 per hour, commensurate with experience.
