We are seeking a seasoned Military Operations & Reporting Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support high-impact defense-related projects. This contractor role is ideal for a professional with deep experience in DoD environments, executive-level reporting, and military staff operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply military operations expertise to support complex reporting and analytical tasks
- Develop and review reports in accordance with DoD reporting standards
- Synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, actionable executive reports
- Coordinate with staff across organizational levels to gather and validate content
- Evaluate written content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with military standards
- Provide structured feedback to improve reporting quality and consistency
- Develop realistic scenarios to support training, planning, or evaluation efforts
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in military operations and DoD environments
- Strong command of DoD reporting standards and formats
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills
- Experience with executive-level reporting and staff coordination
