Join AFTERQUERY and apply your mortgage lending expertise to shape the next generation of AI. We are seeking NMLS-licensed Mortgage Loan Officers to help frontier AI labs develop and test model judgment by building real-world origination scenarios. This is a flexible, fully remote, asynchronous contract role with weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Design and document realistic mortgage origination scenarios used to evaluate AI model reasoning and judgment
• Apply your knowledge of loan programs, underwriting guidelines, and disclosure requirements to create nuanced, accurate test cases
• Provide clear written explanations of lending decisions and reasoning to support AI training and evaluation

Requirements

• Active NMLS license or registration as a mortgage loan originator
• 2+ years of hands-on mortgage loan origination experience
• Strong depth in loan programs, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory disclosure requirements
• Excellent written English communication skills for documenting complex lending rationale
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week

• Rate: $70–$105/hr based on experience
