Turing is looking for a certified Movement & Physical Activity Expert to evaluate and improve AI-generated content related to exercise science, human movement, and physical fitness. This is an 8-week freelance engagement working at the cutting edge of frontier AI development.

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated content related to exercise, movement, fitness, and physical activity for accuracy, safety, and completeness.
  • Evaluate recommendations involving muscle strengthening, flexibility, balance, high-intensity activity, mobility, and general movement.
  • Provide expert feedback to improve the scientific validity and quality of large language model (LLM) outputs.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to align model performance with current evidence-based exercise science and movement best practices.

Requirements

  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA), Exercise Physiologist (ACSM EP-C), or Kinesiologist.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience coaching individuals or groups in fitness, rehabilitation, athletic performance, or movement training.
  • Strong command of English with the ability to interpret scientific literature and exercise guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on safety and evidence-based practice.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Physical Therapist (PT/DPT), Sports Scientist, or a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Experience in content review, annotation, AI/ML evaluation, or research.
  • Familiarity with ACSM, NSCA, or WHO Physical Activity Guidelines.
  • Access to a MacBook is ideal.
