Multilingual Call Evaluation Contractor at Mercor

Multilingual Call Evaluation & Transcription | $50/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is launching a short-term, high-intensity multilingual evaluation sprint focused on call quality assessment and transcription. We are seeking native-fluent contractors across 16 languages to join a fast-moving project with a strong emphasis on quality and consistency. This engagement runs 2–4 weeks with consistent weekly hours.

What You'll Do

• Place and review scripted or semi-structured calls
• Evaluate call quality across pronunciation, prosody, phrasing, and fluency
• Score calls according to provided evaluation guidelines
• Complete transcription tasks accurately and efficiently

Languages Needed (4–5 contractors per language)

• English (UK) & English (AU)
• Spanish (Peru)
• Portuguese (Brazil) & Portuguese (Portugal)
• Swedish, Dutch, Danish
• Japanese, Korean
• Hindi, Bengali
• Arabic (Modern Standard)
• Czech, Italian, Turkish

Requirements

• Native fluency in one of the listed languages
• Ability to evaluate standard accents and identify deviations in pronunciation, prosody, and phrasing
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in scoring
• Prior experience in data annotation, evaluation, or AI-related work is preferred

Additional Notes

Upon signing your contract, you will be required to complete a 1-hour paid security setup via Vanta within 24 hours. This includes downloading a password manager, installing Vanta, encrypting your hard drive, and completing security training. Please only apply if you are comfortable completing this requirement.
