Multilingual Outpatient Physician (MD) | $170–190/hr | Remote (US) | Part-Time
Mercor is seeking currently practicing outpatient physicians (MD or DO) to join a multilingual cohort evaluating and improving cutting-edge clinical documentation and AI decision-support tools. This is a flexible, remote engagement designed to fit around an active clinical practice — minimum 10 hours per week.
About the Role
On behalf of a leading healthcare AI partner, you will apply your ambulatory expertise to review, annotate, and evaluate AI-generated clinical documentation. Your input will directly shape the accuracy, safety, and clinical usefulness of next-generation medical AI systems. All outpatient specialties are welcome — including endocrinology, cardiology, dermatology, oncology, infectious disease, sports medicine, and more.
This is a multilingual cohort. In addition to English, candidates must demonstrate advanced (C1+) proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Czech, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, Vietnamese, or Finnish.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Documentation Review: Evaluate outpatient notes, encounter summaries, and EHR documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clinical soundness.
- AI Output Evaluation: Assess AI-generated notes against real-world physician documentation standards; identify hallucinations, omissions, and clinical inaccuracies.
- Structured Annotation & Feedback: Annotate encounter data per detailed guidelines and deliver actionable written feedback to engineering and product teams.
- Knowledge Contribution: Provide expert input on annotation guidelines, documentation standards, and edge-case definitions; help refine ambiguous guidance.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO currently practicing in an outpatient or ambulatory setting (any specialty)
- US-based
- Direct experience writing clinical notes in an outpatient setting
- Advanced (C1+) proficiency — speaking, listening, and writing — in at least one of: Czech, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, Vietnamese, or Finnish
- Minimum availability of 10 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of post-residency clinical practice
- Familiarity with Epic EHR
- Experience with clinical documentation quality review, note auditing, or CDI
- Prior AI/ML annotation or model evaluation experience
- Experience documenting patient care in a language other than English
Work Arrangement
This is a remote, part-time contractor role with flexible scheduling built around your existing clinical practice. Compensation is $170–$190/hr depending on experience and language qualifications.
