Role Overview

In this position, you will tackle challenging chemistry problems that span multiple modalities — combining data, visuals, equations, and scientific reasoning to deliver accurate, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve multimodal chemistry problems involving text, images, diagrams, and data
• Apply knowledge across chemistry disciplines including organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry
• Provide clear, well-reasoned solutions and explanations
• Collaborate with the Mercor team to ensure quality and accuracy of outputs

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in chemistry (degree or equivalent professional experience preferred)
• Comfortable working with multimodal content and scientific data
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
